As of 2021, over 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic are in our oceans. That's four billion plastic microfibers per square kilometer, and almost 300,000 tons of plastic floating on the surface. On top of that, only 1-3% of plastic used globally is recycled. It is our goal to decrease the use of plastic and waste in our environment, and that starts with you.

Our glasses frames are made from avocado pits. This makes the plastic completely biodegradable. If the frames break or are done being used, when thrown away, instead of adding to the growing problem of plastic waste, it neatly decomposes on its own. 

This might seem like a small step to help our planet, but in reality, it's a giant leap to making the world a better place.
